Episode 169: CataractCoach Podcast 169: Ed Anderson MD
Our guest is Dr Ed Anderson, a prominent ophthalmologist from Durban, South Africa who shares insights from his diverse career, which included working as a physician in multiple continents. The discussion highlights the unique challenges of ophthalmology in South Africa, where a small number of specialists manage a large population with advanced surgical needs. Beyond medicine, Dr. Anderson discusses his passion for wildlife photography and birding. He recently served as the president of the South African Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery (SASCRS) which I was fortunate to attend this year and once before 15 years ago.
We feature a new podcast every week on Sundays and they are uploaded to all major podcast services. The full video of the podcast is here on CataractCoach as well as on our YouTube channel. Starting now we have sponsorship opportunities available for the top podcast in all of ophthalmology. Please contact us to inquire.
