Jacinta and Josh bought their first apartment at 23, paid the minimum for 7 years, and only chipped $90k off it. Strata issues forced a sale during Jacinta's maternity leave, and they moved in with family for 10 months to save for round 2, a $899k, 30 year home loan.
They found Infinity searching for an Australian version of Dave Ramsey. On their own they'd already pulled their timeline down to 19 years. With the debt reduction plan it dropped to 6 years and 7 months, and their balance has already gone from $899k to $784k in just over a year. They'll own their home before they turn 40.
