A major shift came from controlling day-to-day spending (especially on impulse purchases and groceries), working as a team, and sticking to a system that gave them clarity and confidence. Looking ahead, their goal is to achieve financial independence by age 59 with around $250,000in annual passive income, giving them the choice to stop working and focus on travel and lifestyle. They’ve learned that discipline, clear goals, and consistent action matter more than income alone, and they emphasise the importance of starting, trusting the process, and avoiding emotional or impulsive financial decisions.
