Then, the plaintiff claims the defendant, her ex-husband, cashed in one of her insurance checks, so she's suing. The defendant argues the check was intended for him, not her.

Plus, the plaintiff went to the defendant's shop to purchase prescription glasses. However, when he went to pick them up, the lenses were there, but the frames were missing, so the plaintiff is suing for a refund. The defendant says the glasses were ready for pickup, but the plaintiff refused to pay the balance due.
