The defendant says while the plaintiff did clean the hard drive, he failed to restore important data that was wiped in the process.

Plus, the plaintiff says her daughter passed away and the defendant, her daughter’s friend, refuses to return valuable belongings that she claims are rightfully hers. She is suing for the value of the items. The defendant says the plaintiff’s daughter asked her to keep those items from her mother. She is countersuing for harassment, slander, emotional distress, and malice.
