Journey to the West-28: The Buddha casts a spell to subdue the roc
This time, Tang Seng and disciples encountered a lion monster, an elephant monster and a roc monster. Wukong was put into a treasure bottle and escaped only by the life-saving hairs sent by the Bodhisattva Goddess of Mercy. Wukong had to go through several difficulties to save his master twice, and was taken back by the demons twice. In the end, it was only after the Bodhisattva and Buddha Rulai had subdued the demons that Wukong was able to save his master.
