This is a well-known scientific fairy tale from the 1950s and 1960s that even very young children can understand. Take the children to see the artemisia and the dandelion, ask them if they think they resemble parachutes and hedgehogs, and see if they can remember how the artemisia and the dandelion spread and reproduced in distant places, as mentioned in the story.
