الجزء الثاني لا يعيد مقالات الجزء الأول؛ بل يواصل المشروع بموضوعات جديدة أكثر تركيزًا على أخطاء التفكير، صناعة القرار، النجاح، وفهم علاقتنا بالآخرين. يذكر أنه يضم 52 موضوعًا، منها: لماذا يحبك ويكرهك الناس؟ كيف تتخذ القرار المناسب؟ أفكارك ليست حرة كما تعتقد، كيف تنجح في أي مهمة، كيف تعتذر بذكاء، وأفكار مرتبطة بقوانين النجاح والتعامل الإنساني.
إذا كان الجزء الأول يبدأ من فهم الداخل وبناء الذات، فالجزء الثاني يتحرك خطوة إلى الخارج: كيف تؤثر تحيزاتنا وأفكارنا السابقة في أحكامنا؟ كيف نقرأ المواقف والناس بطريقة أفضل؟ وكيف نتخذ قرارًا أقل اندفاعًا وأكثر وعيًا؟ ولذلك تصفه دار الحضارة رسميًا بأنه الجزء الذي «سيغير نظرتك للحياة».
