一直以来我俩都觉得自己还挺年轻的，没想到前几天在一个火锅店门口等位，服务员上来就喊惠子「阿姨」，当场惠子就石化了，受到不小的打击。回家后，反复琢磨怎么回事，深刻反省自己身上的「中年气质」，于是有了这期节目。其实，现在许多比我俩年龄还小的朋友都说自己「老」了，那究竟是什么感觉让大家觉得自己开始步入中年了呢？我们又在害怕中年带给我们什么样的变化呢？
在这一期节目里，我俩彼此坦诚地说出自己对中年的担忧和恐惧，也互相安慰和支招，说破无毒！当我们真的具体去讨论自己在害怕什么时，反而就没那么害怕了。中年只是一个年龄阶段而已，实际上，我们可以定义属于自己的中年，让我们的中年气质不再是「淡淡的死感」，而是充满能量和生命力的！
