Episode Seizing the MV Matthew put Ireland on the world map
Mick continues his chat with former Garda detective inspector Noel Browne. They talk about Noel’s time as the Garda liaison officer in South America and how he helped take on drugs cartels like those behind the 2023 plot to smuggle €157 million of cocaine to Ireland on the MV Matthew. That plan was foiled by the Army Ranger Wing in a dramatic operation off the south coast of Ireland.
