西方哲學傳統中，為了理解世界，哲學家會努力研究哪些事物存在，彷彿只要把所有「在場」的事物都說清楚，那我們就可以全面把握世界。
自現象學以降，歐陸哲學的一大貢獻，正好在於反省這種「在場形上學」。哲學家慢慢發現，就算是那些「在場」的事物，其意義往往也有某意義上「不在場」的事物所參與構成；如果只看「在場」的事物，我們就無法整全地理解世界。
今集《＿＿，在嗎？》，我們由胡塞爾、海德格等現象學家開始，再談沙特怎樣說「無」，最後說到德希達怎樣論說差異比同一更加根本。
