Santos, Tielemans & Baleba: Rating Man Utd's Midfield Rebuild w/ Adam Joseph

24 Aug 2026 · 31 min

Manchester United's midfield has undergone a major rebuild — but how good is it?

Adam Joseph joins the podcast to assess United's midfield transformation, the impact Youri Tielemans, Andrey Santos and Carlos Baleba can have on Michael Carrick's team, and how the different pieces could fit together across the season.

There's also discussion of where the rebuild leaves Kobbie Mainoo, Bruno Fernandes and Mason Mount, how they can make the midfield even stronger with supplemental additions, and if anything is still missing.
