Episode How a 20-Year-Old Student Used AI to Buy a 1 Crore Car (True Story) ft. Mustafa Hanif | TBT Podcast
Are software engineering skills becoming obsolete, or is a massive new goldmine opening up for people with real-world business experience? In this episode of the Thought Behind Things podcast, I sit down with Mustafa Hanif, co-founder and CTO of WeTarseel AI, a FAST-NUCES graduate with 15 years of tech experience who decided to build an omni-channel AI CRM right here from Pakistan.
Context: While everyone is busy doomscrolling about AI taking over jobs, Mustafa shares how his lean team built an AI system handling WhatsApp, Instagram, and voice notes in Urdu and English—scaling to over 200 enterprise clients across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan. We break down the shift from generic software development to AI services, why traditional coding is being replaced by prompt architecture, and how a non-technical person or domain expert can use tools like Grokbot and Claude to automate boring traditional businesses. If you want to stop fearing AI and start capturing value in the upcoming intelligence cycle, watch this until the end.
