Episode Grassroot Series #2: The Rising Up of Engaged Citizens and Populist Movement for Nation Building in Malaysia (S4, Episode 14)
At a time when the world is talking about “recovery”, we are being reminded of the Walk for Judicial Independence organised by the Malaysian Bar on 17th June 2022. An unwarranted and inexplicable display of state power and intimidation by the Royal Malaysia Police was witnessed in this walk that was intended to uphold the doctrine of separation of powers.
Nonetheless, in the midst of all this, there is a part that each citizen can take part in nation-building in Malaysia. One person at a time! Joining Simon in this pre-recorded episode back on 20th June 2022 is our special guest, Vanessa Ting, a qualified legal person.
Shows are listed from Apple Podcasts' charts and directory, and Podcast Index where it is used. Every show and episode belongs to its publisher and plays from the publisher's own feed; this site hosts none of them. Explicit shows are for adult profiles only, and children’s profiles hear only children’s shows. More about this list.
