Episode Episode 229 - From Burnout to Building Family First: Bob McCoskrie, Part 1

0:00 45:14

This week we're joined by Bob McCoskrie from Family First New Zealand. But before the public debates, the advocacy work and 20 years of Family First, there was a young man with a heart for ministry, a love of radio and a passion for reaching people with the truth. Bob takes us back to life before Family First, sharing his Christian testimony, his years working with young people, and how burnout and a growing awareness of the need for a voice for families began to shape his journey. We chat about the temptation to compromise our Christian convictions, recognising when seasons come to an end, and how Family First came to be. We also get into why putting family first matters, whether Christianity is under attack in New Zealand, and the personal impact of the many battles, hits and losses Bob has experienced along the way. It's an honest and encouraging conversation about faith, standing firm in your convictions and seeking the Lord's direction through every season. Thank you for watching - I hope this episode blesses you! Part 2 out 13 October.
