Hey Outsiders! In todays Insights episode, Laura and I are unpacking a few big conversations happening in the Christian world, from concerns about false teaching to the difficult questions surrounding justice, forgiveness and shunning.
We start by looking at some recent conversations in the online Christian space, including John and Korey Cooper from Skillet speaking with Alisa Childers about church abuse and the New Apostolic Reformation. We then reflect on our conversation with Rosanna Overcomer and the ongoing fight for justice for Gloriavale survivors. What does it look like to forgive while still pursuing justice? How should we respond when people are held accountable for their actions? And is shunning biblical?
