Episode Abdullah Ibn Masood (ra): A Mighty Legacy of Qur’an
Although he was the most at risk, Abdullah Ibn Masood (ra) was the first to recite the Qur’an publicly. The Prophet ﷺ told him, "You are a wise young man" upon their first encounter. He was the 6th person to embrace Islam, which earned him the nickname "Sudus al-Islam" (one-sixth of Islam). Sign up here to get notes sent straight to your inbox.
