Paul Trammell grew up in the Deep South of the US, became a sailor, then an author, and now lives in his boat off the East Coast of Panama.

I grew up in the New York suburbs, traveled across continents and professions and now live in on Vancouver Island, Canada.

Paul introduced me by saying my approach to psychotherapy "is unique and anti-authoritarian, combining science, spirit, economics, and mental health, the psyche, and the behavior of groups."

Summarizing our conversation he says:

"We talk about quantum physics, psychotherapy, mountaineering, traveling and visiting other cultures, education, hypnotherapy, length of life, racism, ADD/ADHD and how it’s diagnosis is abused, the problems with modern education, how psychotherapy started as a political tool, modern quasi-slavery, alternative schools, ecology, indigenous Panamanians, hope for the future, depression, Caribbean society, unemployment, schizophrenia, family structures, Spanish and English languages, dreams, past lives, inherited personalities, empathy, war, and more."
