My son and I have finished re-watching the Harry Potter films. I believe, and J. K. Rowling agrees (Rohdan 2015), that there are many similarities between Ralph Fiennes’ Voldemort and Donald Trump. They include being overly powerful, pompous, narcissistic, sadistic, indifferent, felonious, murderous, dim witted, mendacious, perfidious, morally defective, poorly informed, evil, and ugly. The only thing that Donald Trump is that Voldemort isn’t is a sex offender, and that’s because Harry Potter is written for kids.
