Episode REWIND REVIEW: Gunbuster
Break out your VHS player and finally get that old tape of Disney's The Jungle Book unstuck from it's vice grip because we're rewinding the clock to review an anime classic! We're breaking down a marvelous major marvel of mecha in this week's episode which launched Hideaki Anno's career into the stars and super robot goodness into so many hearts! I love this show, my dudes. I'm not even gonna lie. Go watch it now. We talk mecha moé, moé mecha, and mecha malcontent all in this week's episode so even if you don't watch anime that's a season old then you should totally listen in regardless! As always, check out new episodes every Sunday by going to our website at www.otakumelancholy.com to see all our links including our social media and join the Discord at https://discord.gg/rUHYUyW to continue the conversation!
