อาหารไทยในแต่ละภาคจะมีรสชาติและวิธีการกินไม่ค่อยเหมือนกันค่ะ
อย่างเช่น อาหารภาคกลางจะค่อนข้างหวาน และกินกับข้าวสวย
ส่วนภาคเหนือกับภาคอีสานจะชอบกินข้าวเหนียว
อาหารภาคอีสานจะค่อนข้างเปรี้ยวและเผ็ด

แนนคิดว่าน้ำพริกที่มีชื่อเสียงที่สุดคือน้ำพริกหนุ่ม
วิธีทำคือ ย่างพริก หอมแดง และกระเทียม
ตำทั้งหมดเข้าด้วยกัน แล้วก็ปรุงรส
คนภาคเหนือชอบกินน้ำพริกหนุ่มกับข้าวเหนียวและแคบหมูค่ะ

หมูฮ้องเป็นอาหารที่มีชื่อเสียงทางภาคใต้ โดยเฉพาะที่จังหวัดภูเก็ตค่ะ
โดยหมูที่ใช้จะต้องเป็นหมูสามชั้น
ต้มหมูกับซีอิ๊วและเครื่องเทศจนนุ่ม
รสชาติของหมูฮ้องจะเค็ม ๆ และหอมเครื่องเทศ คล้ายกับอาหารจีน
กินกับข้าวสวยร้อน ๆ อร่อยมากค่ะ
