I had the great pleasure of working with Mrs. Gerry Bonds from "The Living Room" here in Oklahoma City this past week. Check out her award winning work at: http://www.thelivingroomgb.com. In this episode Desjean Jones, Director of O.I.C. Oklahoma City, and I were invited to give a humanizing take on the immigrant experience in our community. Since I am an ESL teacher and have been teaching for six years, I have first hand experience with immigrant populations and second language learners from across the globe.
Have you been wondering what is the TRUTH about immigrants in the US? Listen to this great half interview from Gerry Bonds of the Living Room.
