The Khandaan team dives headfirst into the latest pop culture meteor: Saiyaara – the YRF hit film that no one saw coming.

We unpack its unexpected virality, emotional ending, and the fan reactions flooding TikTok – from all across the globe– as Asim forces Sujoy and Amrita to drop everything and watch it.

Amrita cathes up with Metro In Dino and Sujoy is obsessed with the soundtrack.

Then it’s on to Mohit Suri’s cinematic redemption via the emo classic Awaarapan. Yes, Sujoy has thoughts. Yes, they’re emotional. We also take a detour through his newer offerings (Sister Midnight, anyone?) and Aap Jaisa Koi.

We also discuss:

•

Metro In Dino – and the larger question: can these multi-character dramas still work?

•

Aap Jaisa Koi – songs vs films, vibes vs substance

It’s messy, chaotic, and unfiltered – just how you like it.
