Episode 186 | The Silence

Shhhhh! Join us for a very quiet discussion of THE SILENCE, a 2019 movie about a family fleeing vicious creatures who hunt exclusively by sound. "Oh yeah, with John Krasinski and Emily Blunt!" you might say. No, that's the other one. This take on the sensory-deprivation horror genre stars Stanley Tucci, Kiernan Shipka, Miranda Otto, and John Corbett. We discuss how it compares to the very similar A QUIET PLACE, whether BIRD BOX started this possible subgenre, how we'd deal with post-apocalyptic religious cult leaders, and how this movie relates to TITANIC II. Join us!

As promised, here's Stanley Tucci being a hottie in a jeans commercial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=woPQokCxFUw
