Richard Prasse has had strange neighbors before. None of them were anything like Eliza Munoz. Beautiful, mysterious, and surrounded by a seemingly endless procession of late-night visitors, Eliza quickly becomes an irresistible distraction for the lonely medical resident living next door. But when curiosity draws Richard across the hallway at exactly the wrong moment, he discovers that the sounds coming from Eliza's apartment aren't evidence of an unusually active love life. They're evidence of something hungry. Soon Richard finds himself trapped between attraction and terror as the woman he can't stop thinking about reveals a side of herself no human being was ever meant to see. And when another dangerous figure from Eliza's past appears, Richard realizes that his neighbor may not be the only monster in the building.
