Episode 277: Ange Postecoglou - The Millionaires Club (Part A)
As part of The Howie Games Millionaires Club, celebrating 10 years of the podcast and more than 126 million downloads, Ange takes us inside the biggest highs and hardest moments of his extraordinary coaching journey in the EPL.
He opens up about helping deliver Tottenham Hotspur their first trophy in 17 years, overcoming the relentless “Spursy” tag, carrying the weight of a club and its supporters, and winning under pressure.
Then comes the brutal other side of football: being sacked by Nottingham Forest after just 39 days. Ange takes Howie inside it all.
Ange reveals the attraction of a potential opportunity to coach Cristiano Ronaldo, and why becoming even a small part of the story of sporting giants is something that still drives him.
Ange Postecoglou, for the third time, and the stories just keep getting bigger, and he reckons the next 10 years could be his best yet.
The Howie Games Millionaires Club. 10 years of The Howie Games.
