About
From cloning and embryo research, to multiple births and the taking of sperm from dead husbands - the field of reproductive technologies is always going to be notoriously difficult. When controversial scientific advances and inflexible moral ideals meet, we are going to be confronted by some very hard questions to answer. The differing treatment of these issues in the UK and the US offers us a cross-cultural perspective that can help us come to a better understanding of the root of the problems, the principles of further advances and where the possible solutions might lie.
