About
Hello, my name is Thibaut Lemercier. I'm currently an electrical engineering student at INSA Lyon, with a strong interest in specialized electromagnets. Previously, I worked on the design of a superconducting magnet at CEA, the French Atomic Energy Commission. This summer, I've had the opportunity to join the Beam Transfer Group at CERN. My project focuses on characterizing iron and copper losses in a new septum magnet, using both COMSOL simulations and hands-on experiments..
