About
Over the last year, the concept of a Grid of geographically distributed computers providing huge computing resources "on tap" to companies and institutions has led to a great deal of interest and activity from major computer hardware and software companies. The session is hosted by the CERN openlab for DataGrid applications, a recently established industrial partnership on Grid technologies, and will profile both CERN's activities in this emerging field and those of some key industrial players
Due to seating limitations, those interested should register for this event at before hursday 26th 12:00. The conference will be in the Main Auditorium, building 500 17:00-19:00, followed by networking and aperitif in Restaurant 1 from 19h00-21:00.
