About

The Higgs boson and the top quark are the heaviest elementary particles known to date. The study of their production and interaction is crucial to improve our understanding of the Standard Model, and can possibly open a window on new physics. At the same time, top quarks provide an ubiquitous background to Higgs studies and new-physics searches. We review recent theoretical progress in precision computations of top-quark production and related processes and present new results for ttH and ttW production at next-to-next-to-leading order in QCD. .
