About
Will outline the construction phases of CMS, followed by specific strategy used by CMS to commission the experiment concurrently with the installation in the cavern. All along examples of the performance of the detector obtained mainly from cosmic ray data will be shown. At the end some example of early physics result aimed for the 2008 LHC run will be shown.
