Writing IS Thinking!
Once you connect patterns across your sources, you're ready to create an outline and write your literature review! This step allows you to bring your voice into the conversation. Yes, you'll still write academically and yes, you'll be citing the works you read and analyzed in the last sections. But only you can connect these sources in a way that matters to you and to your topic.
Time Needed for This Unit
How much time you need for this unit really depends on the length of your literature and with your comfort in writing. While all of us need to write multiple drafts, some people write faster and some need a bit more time for germination. Also, difference in length between a literature review for a course assignment versus a dissertation is vast.
