    1.4: About the Book

This textbook is a derivative of Child, Growth and Development by Paris, Ricardo, Raymond, & Johnson (College of the Canyons). Additional content was imported from Observation, Assessment, and Participation in Early Childhood by Studinka (2020). The combined work has been re-organized and expanded upon for more depth in an upper-level child development undergraduate course.

To make it easier to remix, all sections, in lieu of chapters, have learning objectives and include a reference list. For accessibility purposes, if images have a source url, it is linked via the Figure number to differentiate it between other images on the page rather than generically linking "Image" repeatedly.
