    1: Health Assessment in Nursing

    • 1.1: Introduction
Systematic health assessments are performed regularly in nearly every health care setting. Nurses must learn to perform a complete health assessment as well assess each body system in order to determine appropriate nursing care for the patient.
    • 1.2: The Nursing Process
This section will explain the nursing process as standards of professional nursing practice to provide safe, patient-centered care.
    • 1.3: Critical Thinking and Clinical Reasoning
Nurses make decisions while providing patient care by using critical thinking and clinical reasoning.
    • 1.4: Regulations and Standards
Regulations and standards of nursing assure safe, competent care is provided to the public.
