Opening the book…
We learned to solve linear inequalities after learning to solve linear equations.
For Rational inequalities, the techniques were very much the same with one major exception. When we multiplied or divided by a negative number, the inequality sign reversed. A rational inequality is an inequality that contains a rational expression.
We will also use some of the techniques from solving linear and rational inequalities as well as quadratic equations. We will solve quadratic inequalities two ways—both graphically and algebraically.
