    2.1: Un primo passo

Parole per descrivere (Words to Describe)

In this section, we will walk through words and expressions to help you describe people and places. You will learn common nouns and adjectives related to cities, individuals, and useful general vocabulary related to towns. These terms will allow you to begin creating your own sentences, talk about yourself and your surroundings, and describe the world around you.

A public ad in the city of Monza shows a child holding a gigantic pen that is taller than him. The word “grande” is written above his head.

Keep in mind that we all learn in different ways. What works well for one person may not work for another. The word lists here are simply a point of reference: they will naturally reappear throughout Unit 2, just as you noticed in Unit 1. You can choose to memorize them in advance, or let them sink in gradually as you encounter them in real contexts. You might prefer creating visual charts, matching activities, or flashcards, or experimenting with apps and other creative tools.
