    5.16: Chapter Summary

In this chapter, you combined all of the skills you’ve learned so far, including paraphrasing and summarizing your sources and demonstrating your critical thinking by constructing an argument that includes outlining and refuting an opposing viewpoint. You used source sandwiches with accurate citations to develop and support your argument as well as avoid plagiarism. Finally, you wrote a well-organized, well-supported, and balanced research paper that argued a specific point of view with a mix of outside sources and personal experience. Congratulations!
