    8: Appendices

Generally style manuals include everything a writer needs to know in order to make their work look and read just like every other work written in that particular style - the look of the page, the way other authors are referenced in the body of the work, and even the tone of the writing. Different university classes you take will specify a particular style manual to follow. In your writing classes, you will probably use MLA (Modern Language Association) style. You may encounter other style manuals, such as APA (American Psychology Association) or Chicago/University of Chicago. For more general information on various style manuals, start here.
