    Hassan: Hello, Rana حَسَن : السّلامُ عليكم يا رَنا
    Rana: Hello, Hassan! رَنا : وعلْيكُم السَّلام يا حَسَن
    Hassan: How are you today? حَسَن : كيْفَ حالُكِ اليَوْم؟
    Rana: I am doing well, and you? رَنا : أنا بِخَيْر، الحَمدُ للهِ، وَأنْتَ؟
    Hassan: I am doing great, thank you. Which university do you attend? حَسَن : أنا جَيْد، شُكْراً. أيْنَ تَدْرُسين؟
    Rana: I am a student at the University of Baghdad. What about you? رَنا : أَدرُسُ في جامِعَةِ بَغْداد، وأَنْتَ؟
    Hassan: I am a student at the University of California – Los Angeles. حَسَن : أَدْرُسُ في جامِعَةِ وِلايَةِ كاليفورنيا لوس أنْجلوس
    Rana: What are you studying, Hassan? رَنا : ماذا تَدْرُسُ يا حَسن؟
    Hassan: I am studying chemistry. What about you, Rana? حَسَن : أَدْرُسُ الكيمياء، وَماذا تَدْرُسين يا رَنا؟
    Rana: I am studying computer science. رَنا : أَدْرُسُ علومَ الكُمبيوتر
    Hassan: Where do you live? حَسَن : أَيْنَ تَسكنين؟
    Rana: I live with my sister and brother in a small house on Nile Street. رَنا : أَسكُنُ في بيْتٍ صغيرٍ مع أًختي وَأَخي في شارع النِّيل
    Hassan: I live with my friends - Ahmad, Tom, and Jack - in a small apartment. حَسَن : أَنا أَسْكُنُ معَ صَديقي أَحْمَد وَتَوم وجاك في شقة صغيرة
    Rana: Are you employed? رَنا : هل تَعمَل؟
    Hassan: I am unemployed and am a full-time student. What about you? حَسَن : لا أعْمَلُ، أنا طالِب، وأنْتِ؟
    Rana: I work at a sweets bakery. رَنا : أنا أعملُ في دُكان حَلوى
    Hassan: How nice! We will start eating sweets from your bakery then! حَسَن : يا سلام، نأْكُل حلوى من عِندِ رَنا
    Rana: Yalla, and drink tea as well! رَنا : يلا، وَنَشْرَبُ شاي
    Hassan: Thank you, Rana. حَسَن : شكراً يا رَنا
    Rana: You are welcome. رَنا : عَفواً

    Pretend you moved to a different state to pursue your education. It's your first day at the university. Call your friend on face time and give him/her a tour around the university. Say the name of the university, show your classes, list what classes you are taking, and describe the weather in the city.
