    All negative informal commands, as well as both the affirmative and negative of formal (i.e. usted(es)) commands, use the present subjunctive.

    • No consuma alcohol en exceso. (usted)
    • No vayas a ese restaurante. (tú)
    • Siga las recomendaciones de su médico. (usted)
    • ¡Vengan aquí ahora mismo! (ustedes)
