8.5: Cross-Cutting Concerns- Security and Observability in Cloud-Native Design

Building a cloud-native application isn’t just about functionality and performance; it also requires careful attention to security and observability. The distributed and dynamic nature of cloud-native systems introduces new challenges: there are more inter-service communication points to secure, and debugging or monitoring the system requires aggregating data from many moving parts. In this section, we cover strategies for designing secure microservices and achieving robust observability (through monitoring, logging, and tracing).
