8.2: Core Principles of Cloud-Native Development

Cloud-native systems are built on a set of key principles and technologies that enable their flexibility and resilience. The Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) identifies several technological blocks of cloud-native architecture, including immutable infrastructure, microservices, containers, declarative APIs, and service meshes. In practice, successful cloud-native development also relies on continuous integration/delivery and automation to manage complexity.
