Aseptic Transfer of Microbes
The following video helps demonstrate how to tranfer microbes between media without contamination.
Video 1. This video shows shows how to transfer bacterial colonies from a stock plate to a sample plate using the quad streak. Notice how the scientist creates a sterile environment, labels the plate first, and uses parafilm.
