    Materials needed for termite experiment (for 25 students).

    • 25 paint small paint brushes (pipe cleaners will also work)

    • 25 small plastic holding cups

    • 50 pieces of blank white paper (copier paper is fine)
    • 6 black ink pens (like BIC, not gel)
    • Various other writing implements (at least 4 of the same brand of each, give students many options)
      • Crayons
      • Markers
      • Pencils
      • Gel pens
    • 6 protractors
    • Live termites (can be purchased from Carolina or another biological supply)
