About this recording
Needwood Forest is a book written by Francis Noel Clarke Mundy in 1776. Mundy describes the forest's natural beauty, its flora and fauna, and the various activities that take place within its boundaries. The book also contains historical information about the forest, including its use as a royal hunting ground during the Middle Ages. Mundy's writing style is descriptive and poetic, and he captures the essence of the forest in vivid detail. - Summary by GERALD MOE
