About this recording
Bertram Sinclair and his sister Eleanor are orphans living in squalid conditions. Bert is watching as his sister "Prin" lies sick and dying of measles and "brownkitis". Prin has dreamed of being a princess, and has tried to persuade everyone she is one, indeed, proving it with the aid of trinkets she has stolen, but now the truth has come out. Will the law take a hand, or will the rightful owner show compassion? - Summary by LynneT
