-----
Lewis Carroll was a pseudonym for Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, and is known best as the author of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and its sequel Through the Looking-Glass, The Hunting of the Snark, and Jabberwocky. This poem is a humourous warning, contrasting what one imagines someone to be like compared to reality - appropriate in our age of online communication! - Summary by TriciaG
