by Anonymous
"The Bible, King James version, Book 10: 2 Samuel" by Anonymous is a biblical text composed around 630–540 BCE. This book chronicles the rise of Israel's monarchy, following the prophet Samuel as he anoints Saul as the first king. When Saul proves unworthy, God's favor shifts to David, a shepherd who becomes king, defeats Israel's enemies, and brings the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem. The narrative explores themes of divine selection, political power, and God's promise of an everlasting dynasty to David and his descendants.
