L'aeroplano del papa: Romanzo profetico in versi liberi

"L'aeroplano del papa: Romanzo profetico in versi liberi" by F. T. Marinetti is a futurist novel in free verse composed in 1912. The poet flies his monoplane across Italy, kidnapping the Pope and wielding him as a weapon to rally the nation toward war against Austria. He confronts pacifists, decapitates protesting women, and battles his own desires while preaching that war is the world's only hygiene. This ferociously anti-Catholic and anti-Austrian work advocates for Italy's departure from the Triple Alliance.
