About this work
Maria zit met het Christuskind op schoot. Rechts staan Jozef en de jonge Johannes de Doper. Links staat de aartsengel Michaël triomfantelijk op een overwonnen duivel. Michaël heeft in zijn ene hand een speer en in zijn andere hand een weegschaal. Het Christuskind grijpt naar de weegschaal.
